1. Edmonton Valley Zoo 11am-4pm 13315 Buena Vista Road and 87 Ave, regular admission
Celebrate Canada Day and the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s 60th birthday! Take part in a scavenger hunt, enjoy live music and learn about all of our Canadian animal friends!
2. Muttart Conservatory 11am-3pm regular admission 9626 96A Street
Celebrate Canada’s birthday in style! Enjoy the Pyramids one last time before they close for 18 months! Canada Day activities will include patriotic planting activities, crafts, bannock cooking and special furry guests from Second Chance Animal Rescue Society (S.C.A.R.S.)
3. Alberta legislature 7-9am and noon to 9 pm
Canada Day at the Alberta Legislature is the province's biggest Canada Day party. Visitors will enjoy free family-friendly entertainment and activities, including ceremonial events, live performances and more. The Canada Day event will highlight and honour Alberta’s diversity with many fun festivities throughout the historic Legislature Grounds.
4. The Works Art and Design Festival 11am-9pm

5. Outdoor pools and Spray Parks All Day
City of Edmonton outdoor pools is offering Free admission for the entire 2019 season! Splash away the day at one of the City's outdoor pools or water play sites.

5. Art Gallery of Alberta 11am-5pm 2 Sir Winston Churchill Square
Admission: Free
The AGA is opening its doors on a Monday for Canada Day. With the support of Capital Power, there will have free admission all day, from 11 am to 5 pm (last admittance 4:30 pm) as well as fun activities for the whole family running throughout the gallery.
6. Chinatown Night Market 2-8 pm 9540 102 Ave
Admission: Free
It will be an afternoon and evening of martial arts, lion dance, traditional Chinese singing, vendor exhibitions, food and drink and so much more! This event is organized by the Chinese Benevolent Association and the Chinese Community.
